Stacy & Chad’s Wedding Reception

It was an honor to attend and photograph Stacy and Chad’s wedding reception at Ambiente Gallerie in Minneapolis! Stacy and I have known each other since elementary school, and reconnected at the end of last year through a shared connection of losing our moms.  I was so touched she asked me to be at her reception!

Stacy and Chad snuck away to Mexico in February to get married, and then planned a fun wedding reception for June 18, which was Stacy’s mom’s birthday.  It was a very special evening as they celebrated their marriage with friends and family.  You could feel the presence of Stacy’s mom at the reception through all of the beautiful pink flowers, the lovely toast Stacy gave during the evening, and the special dance between Stacy and her dad.  The reception was made even more special when Stacy and Chad announced that they are expecting a baby girl in November!

Stacy was such a pretty bride and showed off her cute little belly!

After pictures of Chad and Stacy, we had the families join us!  In her toast, Stacy talked about how much support both families provide to them, and how both sets of parents have set wonderful examples of marriage.

The space was decorated beautifully with pretty tables, candles, and pink flowers.

The building is an art gallery, with lots of pictures on the walls.  I think everyone’s favorite picture was the huge painting in the bathroom.  We got a lot of fun pictures in front of it!

As the guests arrived and the celebration started, you could feel the love and support in the room!  Everyone was so excited to be there!

Two favorite moments during the celebration were Stacy’s toast, and a dance with her sweet dad.
