Kayla & Michael’s January Wedding

I got to spend the first weekend at January with Kayla and Michael at their beautiful wedding at the Pavilion at Lake Elmo . It was a beautiful sunny winter day with temps in the 20s! We spent a lot of time taking photos in the beautiful hallways of windows — I think window light for weddings is so much fun to play with and get creative, and makes for beautiful photos.

Kayla and Michael were as calm as could be all day, and so focused on each other. It was fun to watch them celebrate together in such a peaceful and gentle way. Then the dance began and this may have been my favorite dance to photograph. Everyone was out there — including bride and groom — and having so much fun! I got some of my favorite wedding dance photos at this one. A fun celebration to end the perfect day!
