I had the pleasure of taking so many September family photos! It’s a beautiful month: there is always still some green, but the leaves are starting to turn a bit and fall to the ground. And the temps are usually nice and warm so little kids are comfortable playing outside during the session! Take a look at all of the beautiful families I got to photograph!
First is a family that I also took photos for last summer. We met in Plymouth and had a fun morning. These kids are so full of personality that they had me laughing and dancing and playing right along with them!
Next I got to meet a friend in Stillwater to photograph her kids and 4 month old baby! He was such a cutie, and loved being with his older brother and sister for photos!
We had a beautiful Sunday afternoon session in mid-September with a family that I know from our kids’ elementary school! It is always a treat to photograph school families because I feel like I get to know them so well during a session! I really enjoyed my time with these sweet girls!
We had another warm, beautiful evening when I met this Minnetonka family later in September! This crew had four adorable kids! I’ve said this to a few friends, but during a family session I just love the chaos and crazy that the kids bring. I’m less patient with my own two, but with other people’s kids, the crazier the better! There was a lot of fun and running and laughing with this large family. I’m so glad I got to know them!
I love these next four portraits because I feel like they captured each kid’s personality perfectly!
Last but not least in September, I got to photograph one of my favorite families! I’ve been lucky enough to be at their wedding reception, and see little Scarlett grow from a newborn, to 6 months, and in these photos almost one! I’m so thankful for their support and trust in me to keep capturing their family.
Thanks to all of these wonderful families for making my September full of fun and laughs!
