Newborn Baby Jack

My first session in 2018 was for sweet newborn baby Jack!  This was a special session because it was for Scott and Megan, who I got to photograph getting married last year!  What a treat to get to do engagement photos, wedding photos, and now baby photos for this family.  I have the best job!  We did the photos in their home, and I love how they turned out.  When I take newborn photos I don’t do a lot of posing.  I like a more natural, lifestyle look that shows all of the details of the first couple weeks at home.  I think these photos of Jack give a quiet, peaceful and snuggly feeling, which describe life with a newborn perfectly (especially in February!).  Well … except for the exhausting, chaotic, and loud parts 🙂

Scott and Megan are going to be wonderful parents, and this little guy is so loved already!

One of the best parts of this session was that a set of Jack’s grandparents were visiting, so I got a few photos of them snuggling him too.
