Lisa & Neil’s Wedding

In June I got to be the wedding photographer at Lisa and Neil’s St. Paul, Minnesota wedding!  It was a beautiful summer day, and we started the morning at Lisa’s Grandma’s house where the girls got their hair and makeup done.

The girls all looked stunning, and we headed over to the church for Lisa to get dressed and ready to do a first look with Neil!

The couple chose to do their first look in the older chapel at St. Mark’s Church.  Lisa’s parents got married in that chapel, and it had a lot of special meaning to their family.  Neil delivered with an emotional and sweet reaction to seeing Lisa for the first time.

I really enjoyed taking photos of the wedding party and families — they were all fun and organized and it was a beautiful day outside!

The ceremony took place in St. Mark’s beautiful main sanctuary.  It was a sweet ceremony and so fun to see Lisa and Neil so happy.

My favorite part of the day is always taking the couple’s photos.  Lisa and Neil were stunning, and we got to take beautiful photos of them at different moments throughout the day.  These two have been living in different states for a while now, and they are so excited to start their life in North Dakota now that the wedding is over!

The reception at the Radisson Hotel was a ton of fun, with great toasts, first dances, and lots of dancing into the evening.  I loved being a part of this special day, and wish the best to Lisa and Neil!
