June Daily Photos

July 12, 2016

The end of June means I’m already halfway through the year and I’ve taken 182 photos!  June brought more photos of both kids together since they’re home from school, a lot of long, sunny evenings, and a lot of pretty green trees.  It was an exciting month for me because I got a new camera!  It’s been fun playing with it and learning how to use it!  Here are my favorites from the month!

June 5: “Real.”  We’ll start off the month with a real picture of what our weekend mornings look like.  He is an early riser, gets his own breakfast and watches tv until the rest of us wake up.  This is often what it looks like when we come out to join him.  Cereal box on the floor, banana and strawberry remains on a placemat, and him collapsed on the ground.

June 6: “Breakfast.”  In contrast, here’s our breakfast table when I get up with the kids!

June 9: “A Snack.”  An afternoon snack for me on the front porch.

June 10: “Where I Stand.” I’m standing on our porch watching their lemonade stand on the curb.  They eventually got a few customers!

The next two are from color week!  June 12: “RGB.” I expanded to the whole rainbow to show love that day.  And June 14: “Vivid.”  I caught these two telling stories at a sleepover, under her vivid blanket.

June 18: “My Ride.”  This swing was her ride at the park.  She could swing all day long – it’s always been her favorite!

June 22: “Opportunity.”  The beautiful light in the trees gave me an opportunity to take this guy’s picture.

The next two are all about playing with scale.  First, June 27: “Ruler” shows the kids measuring the driveway.  Then June 28: “In the Kitchen.” We set up some lego friends at a picnic with a huge strawberry.
