Sarah & Sam Engagement Photos

Sarah and Sam are engaged and getting married next August in Duluth!  What a treat to meet them for a sunrise photo session in Duluth this past October.  They met during a swing dancing class with mutual friends, and the reconnected several months later when Sam was visiting Duluth.  Their first date was at the aquarium in Duluth, and they got engaged while camping on the North Shore of Lake Superior.  Duluth and the surrounding area is a special place for this couple, and I was so excited to explore it with them for photos!  I enjoyed getting to know this sweet couple, and feel so lucky that I get to be the photographer to capture their wedding day!

As I mentioned, we met a few minutes before sunrise at a park overlooking the city of Duluth.  The sun didn’t cooperate that morning, but we still got some beautiful photos with the city and Lake Superior in the background.  I like the moody fall colors in the photos, and feel like they are very cozy and loving.

I can’t wait to see you both next summer!
